Description

Bullock Pen Lake, located between Boone County and Grant County in Kentucky, is a 134 acres reservoir constructed in 1963 by the damming of Bullock Pen Creek.

Boltz Lake is a good fishing, canoeing/kayaking destination. The lake has: Black Crappie, White Crappie, White Bass, Largemouth Bass, Redear Sunfish, Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish and Saugeye. State regulations apply to all species but all Catfish must be 12 inch minimum to keep. Saugeye must be over 14 inches to keep (limit 6). Great little lake to fish has a pier on the shore.
