Wolsing Trails is a 42-acre property on both sides of the Banklick Creek in Independence, Kentucky.

Level, mowed walking trails (3) - Two are off the parking lot on Webster Road; the third, longer trail runs below Meadow Glen development and parallel to the stream (presently it can only be accessed via the stone crossing when Banklick Creek is low)
Tree trail identifies 19 different species of trees

There are no facilities on the property.

There are 3 easy walking trails. Two are off the parking lot on Webster Rd. These two trails have a tree trail complete with instructional brochure. Nineteen different types of trees are indentified.  This tree trail was part of an eagle scout project by David  Patton. The third, longer trail runs below Meadow Glen development and parallel to the stream.  Presently it can only be accesssed via the stone crossing when Banklick Creek is low.

Problems with GPS directions have been reported, due to Webster Road being on both sides of Banklick Creek.

Directions from Turkeyfoot Road
If you are going south on Turkeyfoot Road turn left on Independence Station Road
Turn right on Cody Road and follow Cody road to the top of the hill. Turn left. After you pass Troopers Crossing subdivision on the right, you will see Webster Road on the left.
Turn left on to Webster Road. You will pass the Whispering Woods subdivision.
Go past the railroad track downhill and to the very end of the road. Wolsing Preserve is at the very end of the street.

Directions from 536
If you are going east on 536 turn left on Bristow at the 4 way stop sign.
Turn right on Independence Station Road
Turn right on Cody Road and follow Cody road to the top of the hill. Turn left. After you pass Troopers Crossing subdivision on the right, you will see Webster Road on the left.
Turn left on to Webster Road. You will pass the Whispering Woods subdivision.
Go past the railroad track downhill and to the very end of the road. Wolsing Preserve is at the very end of the street.
