Miami Whitewater Forest

Miami Whitewater Forest is the largest park in the Great Parks of Hamilton County with 4,345 acres, and has plenty to offer. It is located off Hope Road in Harrison, Ohio, just northwest of Cincinnati.

This park offers lots of trails, camping, golf, horseback riding, disc golf, paddleboarding, 11 acre dog park, dog agility course, shelters, picnic areas,, youth camp area, all season play area, and a visitor center.

As far as hiking there are multiple scenic trails, including the paved 7.8-mile Shaker Trace trail and 1.4-mile fitness trail, as well as the 1.7-mile Badlands, 0.8-mile Oakleaf, 0.6-mile Tallgrass Prairie and 1.4-mile Timberlakes nature trails, plus two horseback riding trails.

All Hamilton County parks require an annual parking permit good for the entire county. Purchase through greatparks.org.
